Things are Still Going Well

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that Grandma is still doing exceptionally well. Although she still lacks the strength in her right leg, her right arm is showing great progress. That's not to say that she is not doing well with her right leg.
She can lift it and move it when she puts her mind to it, so I would not advise you to test her. She will still kick your butt it if you get out of line...LOL  :)   As far as her right arm goes, you can see her moving and reaching for things all the time. Her therapist is very happy with her progress.

As far as my understanding goes, Grandma will be staying at Hillhaven for a bit longer. Which is great news because the facility is great. The people are warm and welcoming and best of all, Grandma seems to really like the staff that is taken care of her.

Christmas in April Update
As promised. As far as things stand now, Christmas in April will get started...(drum roll please... ) in April. What!? For those like myself, who thought they did the work all year round, this is new information. But for the more, "informed" person, this is just DUH!  Eh, it is what it is...As I get  more information, I will share.

Until next time,
Be Safe and Stay Blessed,
Carmen

  1. Very good update. I would also add that anyone knowing anyone that has been thru this and has a resource record of how they achieved please feel free to share. It is a new process to all of us and any information is appreciated. Mom is determined to walk again and to regain it all. I say always shoot for the stars! Failure is not in not achieving your goals. Failure is in not trying and quitting. I will always believe as long as she is believing. GO MOM!!! Thanks to all the family and friends for all they do. Sometimes its a visit, a call, a card or even and inquiry. It all helps. Thank you!
