This evening mom had a host of family and friends visiting her. She even got to see her new grandson. Mom is doing very well. Her physical therapy today was short, but sweet.
The sister of mom's room mate of last week stopped by to say hello to mom, which was sort of neat. Her sister had been moved to another room, but they have all bonded with mom and want to keep in touch.
Mom was using both hands this evening, seemingly without any effort; very normally. Her healing process thus for has been really great. The nurses has not seen a more determined person, who is so willing to get back to where she once was. They're still trying to wear her out, but it's not happening! Little did they know what true grit mom has.
Christine, I did give mom your message, and she appreciates your thoughtfulness, and sends her thanks to you; I'll let Margie know that you said hello.
Good night to all and God Bless.
Spencer
Thank you Spencer...I have also forwarded some info to Poochie. Can you find out the address to the hospital for cards and stuff? I know Carmen told me she is in room 321. I would appreciate it. :)
